Magic Man

"I just returned from a California Thanksgiving vacation with Magic Man. Yes, I trailered him out there and rode the trails around Woodside, California. (Bay area) For one thing, I didn't and wouldn't pull a trailer that far with anything short of a great horse inside of it. It was a wonderful experience to meet new riders and their horses and especially exciting to trail ride in the redwood and fir forest. The other unique part of the trip was riding in and about the village of Woodside, which is very much a horse community. Bicycles by the hundreds were encountered everyday as were hikers and joggers. At one point we rode alongside of Interstate I-280. Another time we rode into the village and tied up to the hitch rail outside of the well known bakery. Great exposure for the horses and fun for the riders. I can tell you that Magic Man could not have been a better horse. At all times he was the perfect gentleman and that includes staying in horse motels out and back, as well as being calm and quiet in the horse trailer. Several times during the trip, I did a running walk with Magic Man for long periods of time. He simply has a marvelous running walk! Looking at all of the photos posted of Magic Man, you can see he has been in many, many places. Magic Man! The kind of horse you hate to get off of."

Diamond Mist

"One thing about being in the horse business is that you can't be a fair weather rider. Winter comes and goes in the mountains of New Mexico and the last few days we have experienced 40+ degrees and the snow is melting! Rather than wait for the snow to dry up, I am going to post some photos of one exceptionally nice gelding. I am probably shooting myself in the foot by posting such a handsome fellow all muddy 'n all but that's show biz! If you are a buyer looking at my site for the first time, I strongly suggest you read more than just this Sales Page. I will tell you this and you can take what I say to the bank, this is one very nice extremely smooth, kind and gentle palomino. Photos will be up-dated and I'll assure you Mist will be looking 100% better. In the mean time, come and throw a leg over this guy.............you'll be glad you did!

Lucky

"Outlaw's Lucky Color is his registered name and luck with his color he did have! Wow, what a handsome feller! Besides Lucky's tremendous markings as a bay tobiano, he has a gait to make one drop their jaw! Nine years old this past February 8th. Just right in every way!"

Billy

"Those of you that know me, know that I am a pretty big-tall fella and can clearly see in the attached photos, I am riding a big-tall horse. Yes indeed, Billy is 16.3 hands high! Born and bred here in New Mexico. Registered Tennessee Walking Horse. Billy has been with one owner since he was just two years old. A great horse who received wonderful care and training. There is only one reason Billy is here at Twin Ponds Ranch and that is he got a bit tall for his previous owner. Billy being a great horse, as I already stated, I took Billy in on trade. I have no obligation to trade for any horse for any reason other than being able to offer to my customers a good, solid and safe mount! Billy is without a doubt that! Billy just had a birthday and turned ten years old. Now this isn't a horse with ten birthday's and two years of experience. I'm talking about a horse with a lifetime of experience! This horse has been ridden, folks! He has camped on many occasions. Over-nighted on many a high-line.....an experienced horse! His gait? Well, I have included three different video's to help you see his nice smooth gait. I fully understand that 16.3 is taller than some people might like, but I will tell you this-----He is a darn good horse that deserves a good home. Family horse? Yes sir-ree Bob! Tell you what! You call the lady who owned, trained and rode Billy. (I'll give you the number) Tall people or tall families, get your checkbook out! I am going to sell him right. (Tall Horse Special) $3,200! "

Pistol

"Pistol comes from tremendous blood lines. World Grand Champions, Coin's Hard Cash and Ebony Masterpiece were his great grand sires. Both of these fine champions were known for their good temperaments and Pistol and Cash (His registered name) is no exception. Pistol just didn't have the high step that the show folks want and he became a nice pleasure/trail horse. He is the type of horse that has that inquisitive personality. Every day when I come out to feed him he has to come up and put his nose on my neck and check out what after shave I am wearing that day. At the moment, not good photos but Pistol is a nice deep dark chestnut that shines in the sun. Guaranteed to make someone awfully happy. Pistol!"

Moon Beam

"Well, if you look at her face you can understand how she got her name. Unique markings on this black four white socks mare. But the best part about her is her gait............Oh My! If you are looking for that ultimate smoothness, here ya go! This nice looking mare gets along with other horses marvelously. I have never seen a bad day that some mares can have. Discounting her because she is a mare would be a big mistake in my opinion. If she doesn't get sold quickly you'll see me a riding her for sure. (Check site for photos) This is a really good horse that someone can have for the next twenty plus years. If you are a bargain shopper, you have found one here............Moon Beam!"

Steel

"Here is another personality plus horse. Steel will check your pockets for a treat. Always easy to catch and he has a very nice gait. Handsome you say? Indeed he is. Beautiful head, confirmation and wears a size 2 shoe. Been a pleasure/trail horse his whole life and enjoys doing what he does. Dependable, safe and a horse, a person would be glad to say is mine!"

Tar Heel Dixie

This pretty little gal was born and bred in the Tar Heel State and hence her name. Dual registered both Tennessee Walker (TWHBEA) and Spotted Saddle Horse (SSHBEA) Dixie is very well-bred and has an excellent mind and good smooth gait. A very sweet little horse to be around and to ride. No need climbing up on a bigger horse if ya don't have to. Tar Heel Dixie!

Commander

I just came back from riding Commander in the desert and Superstition Mountains of Arizona. I have to say that Commander was just sensational! He is the nicest and most kind-willing horse I have ever been on. Many trail riders ride every winter near Apache Junction, out of First Water, trailhead. The trails my friends and I rode were the Dutchman trail #104 and the Black Mesa trail. If you ask anyone who knows these trails they will tell you they are rocky and many spots solid rock. Black Mesa is known as a trail you don't want to go on if you are faint of heart or without a one hundred percent surefooted horse or mule. Commander was just amazing! My group moved along at a very good clip and Commander handled the rocks like he was walking on a paved street. Always a gentleman to get on and off from. I'll tell you what. If you like to trail ride or are into endurance riding you need to come and do a trail ride on Commander. Big heart and does not look at a thing! What a ride, what a ride!"

El Blanco

To really appreciate this fine little horse you truly need to come ride him. He is just outstanding on the trail and has a very, very smooth comfortable gait. El Blanco is all business and there is never any fighting to see who is boss. He accepts his role of being number two (rider always number one) and that is the way it should be. Right? If you rule this horse out because he has a lot of white.....you are making a mistake. Palomino tobiano is his color but, as I said, he is one fine little 14.3 hand high trail horse!

Dingo

"Dingo is a well built, 15 hand gelding, that makes people stop and say, WHAT! Yes, this nice guy is really something. The color that everybody wants and the temperament everybody wants too! His grandfather was Clemon's Tim, so you don't get better bloodlines than that! Dingo is currently seeing a lot of New Mexico and come mid-summer I plan on marking him at $10,000. Right now I'll offer him at $8,250.

Dreamer

"This handsome fellow is a Golden Champagne but it is alright to call him a palomino too! He'll get a little darker come Spring. Dreamer is four and a half years old that is started right and has a good willing temperament. He is in our program and getting miles under his belt nearly everyday! He has never done anything dangerous or stupid....he is going to be one heck of a nice pleasure/trail horse. Bred to ride! Dreamer!"

Dr. Pepper

"I don't think my photos really show the handsomeness of this great Rocky Mountain gelding. Dr. Pepper is really something! Kind and gentle and Oh so willing! Dr. Pepper is a big Mountain Horse, standing a stout 15.1 hands, with good bone and flash. His flaxen mane and tail contrast against his shiny red chocolate coat. Personally I've never seen one like him. He gets compliments where ever he goes! He is not registered but he is a gelding so----so what? There is no doubt what his breed is............one very, very nice horse that anybody would love to own!

Garçon

"Garçon. (pronounced Gahr-sohn) The name is French and I am told means "Waiter" or "Server." Serving his master is what he does and he does it extremely well! Magnificent, maybe another good name for him! Garçon will celebrate his ninth birthday is a few days. For those that believe they must have a horse with some birthdays behind them, then hear ya go! As I have said many, many times, it is not the birthdays that make a safe horse but the temperament and experience a horse possesses! Garçon has both! I rode this fine horse last Spring and tried to make him a part of this operation but just couldn't get the deal done. I guess it was meant to be, cause here he stands at Twin Ponds Ranch and I couldn't be more pleased to offer him for sale! He has been trail ridden all over the country and loves what he was bred to do! He has wonderful manners and loves people. As you can see from the video he also has a tremendous smooth gait. Built like a Mac Truck, this guy can carry a load! As much chrome and flash as any horse on this ranch! If you want to ride-here is "The Ride!" Garçon!"
